Nādbrahma pada - 72

બંગલા અજબ બનાયા રે, જિસમેં નારાયણ બોલે;
baňgalā ajab banāyā re, jisa-meň nārāyan bole

પાંચ તત્વકા બંગલા બનાયા, તીન ગુનકા કિયા ગારા;
રોમ રોમ કી છાંયા છાંચી, બોલનહારા ન્યારા ... ટેક
pāňcha tatva-kā baňgalā banāyā, tin gun-kā kiyā gārā
rom rom ki chhāňyā chhānchi, bolan-hārā nyārā ... repeat

ઇસ બંગલે કા દસ દરવાજા, બીચ પવન કા થંભ;
આવત જાવત કોઇ નવ દેખે, એહી બડા અચંબા ... ૧
isa bangale kā das dar-vājā, bich pavan kā thambh
āvat jāvat ko-ii nav dekhe, ehi badā achambā ... 1

પાંચ પચ્ચીસ શું પાતર નીચે, મનવા તાલ બજાવે;
સુરત નુરત કા મૃદંગ બાજે, છત્રીશ રાગણી ગાવે ... ૨
pāňch pach-chis shuň pātar niche, manavā tāl bajāve
surat nurat kā mrudaňg bāje, chha-trish rāgani gāve ... 2

કહેત કબીરા સુનો ભાઇ સાધુ, બંગલા ખૂબ સંવારા;
ઇસ બંગલેમેં સાહેબ બોલે, આપે સર્જન હારા ... ૩
kahet kabirā suno bhā-ii sādhu, baňgalā khub samvārā
isa baňgale-meň sāheb bole, āpe sarjan hārā ... 3

English Translation:
Wondering at the marvel of God, Saint Kabir sings,

0. Coalescing five elements & Fortified with three qualities,
Grand bungalow is made, resounding with sounds divine;
Soft bristling shading this is the home of Supreme Divine.

1. A wondrous edifice of ten doors with hollow airy pole within,
How amazing is that traversing thin air out & in, keeps it alive.

2. Several* volitions dance like lasses on the rhythmic waves of mind,
Soul & Spirit throb like drums, on moving melodies, thirty-six in all.
 
3. Kabir says, O' man, you've beautified your bungalow, own self,
Divinity dwells within it, who has always been your creator divine.

Notes:
1. Five Elements - Air, Water, Earth, Fire & Sky 
2. Three qualities - Sattva, Tamas & Rajas 
3. *Several - Five to twenty-five
4. સુરત નુરત(નરત)  = Soul & Spirit
5. છત્રીશ રાગણી = Music has six basic Ragas and each raga has six sub-ragas or wives, referred to as Ragani (રાગણી). But here, Raga refers to basic six passions of a living being (Spirit) each with six sub-passions.
