પ્રભુ દ્વાર તમારા ખોલો રે આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા
prabhu dvār tamārā kholo re āvyo eka punya ātmā

આ દુનિયાની સગાઈ, એ તો પ્યારમાં પથરાઈ
    એમાં આત્મા ગયો ભરમાઈ રે ... આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા       ૧
ā duniyā-ni sagā-ii, e to pyār-māň patharā-ii
    emāň ātmā gayo bhar-mā-ii re ... āvyo eka punya ātmā     1

આ ચારે કોરની માયા, તેમાં સઘળા ભેદ સમાયા
    મન માનવના લોભાયા રે ... આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા      ૨
ā chāre kor-ni māyā, temā saghalā bhed samāyā
    man mānav-nā lobhāyā re ... āvyo eka punya ātmā     2

આ કાયા કુંભ છે કાચો, સમજો તો એમાં ન રાચો
    પ્રભુ તું છે એક જ સાચો રે ... આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા      ૩
ā kāyā kumbh chhe kācho, samajo to emā na rācho
    prabhu tuň chhe eka ja sācho re ... āvyo eka punya ātmā     3

એણે સત્કર્મ કંઈ કીધાં, એણે દુઃખ સહન કરી લીધાં
    તારા નામનાં અમૃત પીધાં રે ... આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા      ૪
ene sat-karma kaň-ii kidhā, ene dukha sahan kari lidhā
    tārā nām-nā amrut pidhā re ... āvyo eka punya ātmā      4

લીધી તારા નામની માળા, હૈયે ભજીલે છેલ છોગાળા
    ઓ ગિરિધારી ગોપાલા રે ... આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા     ૫
lidhi tārā nām-ni mālā, hai-ye bhaji-le chhel chhogālā
    o giri-dhāri gopālā re ... āvyo eka punya ātmā     5

તારા હાથે છે મૂજ નૈયા, તને પુકારુ તરવૈયા
    તમે આવોને રખવૈયા રે ... આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા     ૬
tārā hāthe chhe muj nai-yā, tane pukāru tara-vai-yā
    tame āvo-ne rakh-vai-yā re ... āvyo eka punya ātmā     6

તમે વારે આવો નાથ, મારો પકડી લેજો હાથ
    પછી છોડુ નહી સંગાથ રે... આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા     ૭
tame vāre āvo nāth, māro pakadi lejo hāth
    pachhi chhodu nahi saňgath re ... āvyo eka punya ātmā     7

આ અવિચળ ભાનુ ચંદા, એ તારી લીલા ગોવિંદા
    ઓ જશોદાજીના નંદા રે ... આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા      ૮
ā avi-chal bhānu chaňdā, e tāri lilā goviňdā
    o jashodā-ji-nā naňdā re ... āvyo eka punya ātmā     8

પ્રભુ એ છે પ્રાર્થના મારી, આત્માને લેજો તારી
    તમે સુણજો કૃષ્ણ મોરારી રે ... આવ્યો એક પુણ્ય આત્મા     ૯
prabhu e chhe prār-thanā māri, ātmā-ne lejo tāri
    tame sunajo krishna morāri re ... āvyo eka punya ātmā     9

English Translation:
O’ God open your doors, a pious soul has come!

1. Bonds of this world are stretched out in passion
The soul is entwined in it…, a pious soul has come

2. All around is realm of Maya, all deceits dwell within,
Minds of men are bewitched…, a pious soul has come

3. Human form is but a pot of earth, don’t you rejoice over it, 
O’ God you are the truth ultimate, a pious soul has come

4. It did some good deeds, also endured a pangs of pain a bit,
Fondly drinking nectar of your name, a pious soul has come

5. Holding a string of rosary of your name, holding you in heart,
O’ Girdhari Gopala, here, a pious soul has come

6. My boat of life sails left at your will, I beckon Divine Savior,
Hold my hand O’ Liberator, here, a pious soul has come

7. Come hold my hand, O’ God, assuage me from swamps of life
I shall never leave you then, here, a pious soul has come

8. This Sun and Moon afloat above, these are your games celestial,
O’ illustrious son of Jashoda, here a pious soul has come

9. O’ Almighty, I just pray this, liberate this soul from pangs of life,
